Freelance Writing Jobs: the October round-up
All the upcoming deadlines you need to know about.
Hello! How are you doing this morning? My cold is finally clearing, and I am fully ready for Autumn now. I’m committed to tartan until March, I’m going all in on hot chocolate (no pumpkin spice, thank you) and I’m going to finish writing my novel. There are over thirty wonderful opportunities in this month’s round-up, plus an ever-growing collection of rolling funds and grants. I hope you throw your hat into the ring for at least one of the listings. Even if you’re feeling uncertain, I dare you to be brave. The season’s turning, after all.
"A career-changing book... if you're thinking about going freelance, read this first," says GQ’s Oliver Franklin-Wallis.
My book The Pyjama Myth: the Freelance Writer's Survival Guide will make you a better, happier freelancer and you can order your copy from Bookshop.
